1. What Laundry Goblin does

Laundry Goblin is a personal laundry timer that helps you track washer and dryer cycles. It is a reminder tool, not a monitoring system. You remain responsible for your laundry and for checking your appliances.

2. Timers and notifications

Timers are calculated from information stored on your device. Local notifications and in-app sounds depend on your device settings, operating-system behavior, and available permissions. Notifications may be disabled, delayed, silenced, or otherwise unavailable. We cannot guarantee that an alert will be delivered at a particular time.

Do not rely on Laundry Goblin for safety-critical alerts, preventing damage, or any situation where a missed reminder could cause harm or loss. Check the appliance and laundry yourself.

3. Your responsibilities

Use the app lawfully and for its intended personal purpose. Do not misuse, reverse engineer, disrupt, or attempt to interfere with the app or website, except where applicable law does not allow that restriction.

You are responsible for the names and other information you choose to enter and for maintaining access to your device. Laundry Goblin does not provide cloud sync or a recovery service for local timer records.

4. Availability and changes

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue the app or website, including to maintain compatibility, fix issues, or improve the service. We will not promise that every feature will be continuously available or compatible with every device or operating-system version.

5. App Store purchase

The app is planned as a one-time paid download, with a target price of $0.99 and no in-app purchases or subscription. Availability and final pricing will be shown by Apple when the app is released and may vary by region. Any purchase is made through Apple and is also subject to Apple’s applicable terms and policies.

Refund requests and payment issues are handled under Apple’s process. These terms do not override any rights you have under Apple’s terms or applicable consumer-protection law.

6. Intellectual property

The Laundry Goblin name, character artwork, visual design, and website content are owned by or licensed to the project operator and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms allow you to use the app and website for personal, non-commercial purposes; they do not transfer ownership or grant rights to reuse the art, branding, or code.

7. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the app and website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, the project operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss resulting from a missed, delayed, or inaccurate reminder. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Governing law

Any governing-law and venue terms are subject to mandatory consumer protections and other rules that apply where you live. The project operator’s legal identity and governing jurisdiction have not yet been provided; these details must be confirmed before public release.

9. Updates and contact

We may revise these terms as the app or website changes. The effective date above indicates when the current version was published. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent allowed by law.
